What We Do

First, our Consultant reviews information you provide and becomes thoroughly familiar with your school's program, mission, and faculty culture. Then he or she spends three to four days at your school, interviewing administrators, faculty, parents, and students, and gathering information on:

• — your current schedule design,
• — academic sequencing,
• — stressful elements to eliminate,
• — alternatives to crossover faculty and
• — options for flexibility.

We apply the scheduling theory ISM has developed over the past three decades, along with our knowledge of students’ learning needs, and custom design at least two scheduling options that best meet the needs of your school and its people.

An oral presentation of our findings and recommendations is given on the final on-site day. You also receive a written summary, as well as follow-up phone consulting for three months.
