| "The training provided by FAST Client Services is very helpful. They are also quick to respond and provide step-by-step instructions on using the system whenever I have a question." |

Robin Snyder, Business Manager Echo Horizon School, CA |
Workshop DescriptionAlso offered September 27-28 in Santa Monica, CA. In the morning session on the first day, Brian will give you a comprehensive walk-through of FAST, including discussion of the tricky area of business income. In the afternoon, you will have a group of completed applications to work with—including some with special circumstances. On the second day, Brian will do a review, and provide more in-depth training in handling business income. Bring your laptops and your questions! If you are new to FAST, or will use it in the near future, this is a training session you won't want to miss. Your $277 fee ($236 for ISM Consortium members) includes continental breakfast both days and break snacks the afternoon of the first day. The Doubletree is offering a special $139 room rate—Call the Doubletree at 302-478-6000 to book your room at this special rate. Palettes Restaurant and Lounge is in the hotel, and it is close to a variety of restaurants. Workshop Leader BioBrian Fulmer Brian is well-versed in the workings of financial aid, and how schools can best use their dollars for the most impact. Brian has sat on several financial aid committees from a diverse selection of schools, and has trained hundreds of others on the FAST system. Seeing literally thousands of applications per year has given him the ability to show you how FAST can give you laser-like precision in making awards, and where you need to take much closer looks at what's reported on an application. He is available for school consultations and group presentations, and will help you work through the transition from another service to FAST. By the way, Brian wrote the FAST software, too. FAQ1.
