ISM research has consistently identified faculty culture to be the primary predictor of student performance, satisfaction, and enthusiasm. It has also shown the importance of predictability and support on faculty culture and the student experience. New ISM research into faculty stress and well-being has examined stress, life satisfaction, and what teachers look for in a place of employment. We can use these data findings to inform decisions that impact attraction and retention of exemplary faculty members.
