How many months of insurance can I purchase?

You can purchase a minimum of one coverage month and a maximum of 12 coverage months.

Are physical exams covered?

Preventive medicine, routine physical examinations, or any other examinations where there are no objective indications or impairment in normal health are not covered.

How do I file a claim?

For any one injury or illness, you must submit a claim form to ACI. To download/print a claim form, please click here. Please mail completed claim forms with itemized bills and receipts to:

Do I have to see a specific doctor?

When using ISM's International College Student Accident and Sickness Insurance, you select the physician you want to see. ISM and its partner provider ACI have compiled a comprehensive network of physicians to help keep student out-of-pocket expenses low. If students choose to use a non-network provider, these expenses may increase.

What is covered in the Emergency Medical Evacuation benefit?

For any ISM insured student who suffers a medical emergency while traveling on a covered trip and must be medically evacuated, as ordered by a doctor, the plan covers 100% of covered expenses. Please see your plan brochure for a full explanation of this benefit.

How do I obtain a new ID card if I lose the original?

You may reprint your ID card at any time by visiting the ACI website. Simply click here to reprint your ID card.
