Maggie joined Independent School Management (ISM) in 2025 as a consultant with deep expertise in the learning sciences and a passion for building meaningful, growth-centered school experiences.

Before joining ISM, Maggie served as Director of Modern Learning at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Georgia, where she led schoolwide academic innovation initiatives and STEAM programming across all divisions.

From 2011 to 2020, Maggie was a tenured associate professor at Georgia State University, where she directed the Educational Psychology program and led research on technology-enhanced learning supported by federal and foundation grants. Earlier in her career, she served as a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow at the University of Wyoming, coordinating science education programs across Wyoming and internationally.

Maggie holds a Ph.D. in developmental psychology and an M.S. in experimental psychology from the University of Wyoming; she earned a B.S. in psychology from Clemson University. She brings a coaching-centered, human-focused mindset to all her work with school leadership teams.
