Here we go again. Gas prices are rising daily and reporters predict costs to peak this summer around $5 a gallon. Are we really going through this again?

Yes, it seems like we are.

Things are starting to look more promising as far the economy is concerned. Companies are starting to hire, unemployment is slowly decreasing, and people are starting to purchase larger home items again—all positive signs. Will the rising gas prices change the economy's progress?

Economists are telling us not to panic, but with prices on the rise again, it’s only wise to start watching our personal spending to accommodate for the increases we’re all seeing at the pumps. There are a few online resources that offer consumers daily updated rates for their area. Here are several that we’ve come across.

On a more positive note, some analysts are reporting that the price of oil has plateaued. We’ll have to stay tuned to see what this summer will bring us.
