Brace yourself, English teachers, OMG, LOL, and tweet are now acceptable words according to the Merriam-Webster and Oxford dictionaries.

Each year, new words are considered and introduced into the dictionary. This year, many of the new inclusions are Web-related. Here are a few you might see at this year’s spelling bee.

  • Bloggable
  • Trackpad
  • Onliner
  • Scareware
  • Cyberbullying
  • Cybersecurity
  • Clickjacking
  • Sexting
  • Woot
  • Nom nom
  • Prolly
  • Jeggings

We tried to use them all in one sentence and couldn’t seem to pull it together. We invite you to send us your best attempts. To entice you, we’ll send the best submission a special promotional code for 30% off a Webinar of your choice.
