Garage or yard sale: 9 Tips for a Successful Garage or Yard Sale
Now that all of the spring cleaning is done (right?), what do you do with all the “stuff” you no longer need? Here’s some great advice from the Green and Clean Mom for having a successful yard or garage sale.
- Ditch pricing each item individually. Create a nice sign that lists the cost for shoes, jeans, shorts, jackets, etc. You’ll save a ton of time if you do this!
- Clean up your items before putting them up for sale. You’ll make more money this way.
- List your items at eBay Classifieds and share these with your friends via Facebook, Twitter, and email. Allow people to contact you to pre-shop before your in-real-life sale!
