Welch's Harvest Grants for Teachers Hurry, hurry, hurry! This year, in a partnership with Scholastic, Welch's is supporting school garden programs, helping to teach the value of sustainable agriculture and healthy eating. Teachers can apply for a Welch's Harvest Grant and win a school garden package filled with a variety of garden tools, seeds, and educational materials.
Welch's will award 100 school gardens. The top five winners will receive packages valued at $1,000; 25 winners will receive a package valued at $500; and 70 winning schools will receive a package valued at $250.

- Little gardener's wheelbarrow
- Two sets of zinc plant markers
- Mosaic butterfly stepping stone kit
- Ladybug house
- 30 kids gardening journals
- Growing classroom
- Eat a rainbow kit
- Vegetable garden seeds
- Six pairs of work gloves for children
- Jumbo garden thermometer
Are you eligible? The award is open to K-8 classrooms in the U.S. with a minimum of 15 students who plan to create indoor or outdoor gardens to teach students about nutrition and sustainable agriculture. Click here to submit an application.
